JOHNSON EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER class visits Blair Moody greenhouse

Ginna Williams' preschool class at the Johnson Early Childhood Center visited the greenhouse at Blair Moody Elementary School recently.

They planted vegetables and are learning that plants need air, food, water and sun to live. They will visit every Tuesday to water their plants and weed them.

The class has planted red and green peppers, radishes, lettuce, beets, green onions and carrots. They are hoping to taste them in the spring.

The class also learned that some plants grow in the ground while others grow above ground.
