West
Middle School is very fortunate to have such a creative and motivational art
instructor as Alisa Meier. Recently, under her guidance, her art students
created paper mache masks.
Although
beginning with a basic form, her students quickly got their creative juices
flowing. By building on their basic forms, students individualized their masks
forming superhero characters, people or a variety of animals.
The
students finished their masks by adding details with paint and craft items. The
results were amazing! We look forward to another year of awakening the artistic
abilities of the students at West Middle School.
