TRUMAN HIGH SCHOOL votes for homecoming king, queen


City Clerk Cindy Bower and her staff were busy today, visiting Truman High School to oversee the Cougars' Homecoming votes for king and queen.

Mayor Rick Sollars and City Councilman Tim Woolley accompanied the clerk and helped register new voters. Clerk Bower supervised a similar program at Kennedy High School earlier.

Members of the 2017 Homecoming Court and nominees for queen are Melissa Abraham, Tara Bailey, Tomi DaSliva, Mackenzie Raboczkay, Andrea Sauceda and Sarah Woolley.

Nominees for king are Michael Fletcher, Ethan Jarrell, Jeremy Locklear, Chase Nester, Dustin Rideout and Anthony Sauceda.


Truman plays Kennedy for homecoming Friday night. The homecoming parade will kickoff from the American Legion Post 200 on Michael near Brest.
