TAYLOR PARKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL receives a welcome visit

Two representatives from the Metro City Church, Jesse Taylor and Billy Denport, recently graced Taylor Parks Elementary School’s Homeless/In-transition students with a true "blessing" in a bag.

They generously donated a grocery bag overflowing with non-perishable food items. These grocery staples served to help our students and families in need with much needed food to carry them over the winter break.

This was a welcomed relief for our homeless/in-transition students and families who typically rely on the free/reduced breakfast and lunch programs provided by the schools; and, our monthly Gleaners Smart Bites snack program deliveries, to provide their daily nourishment.

A special thanks to our Taylor School District Homeless/In-Transition Team, Lori Brown-Platts and Leann Reid, who coordinated this effort for our families.
