The
Randall Elementary School girls basketball team may have finished 0-6 this
season, but they had fun and showed determination and hard work under Coach
John Cahalan.
The
team thanked Mr. Cahalan at their end-of-the-season party.
The
girls played from November 2–December 7.
The
fifth game of the season, played against Blair Moody, was a heartbreaker. Tied
into the second overtime, free throws decided the game. The Randall girls ended
up losing the game by just 1 point.
During
the season five girls scored: Isabel S. (14 points), Janiah W. (eight), Alyssa
W. (eighth), Rebecca W. (two) and DeAriah A. (two).
The
staff and students are proud of the team and wish them the best next year.
