HALLOWEEN EVENTS scheduled across the City

Halloween is in the air ... and so are several community events devoted to the enjoyment of the event. 

The Heritage Park Petting Farm is located at 12803 Pardee Road. The "Boo Barn" is a spooky place to visit for Halloween -- and offers much more! Tickets are the special-event charge of $5. For more information, call (734) 374-5946. 
The Heritage Park Petting Farm is rolling out the "Boo Barn" on October 24-25 from 11 a.m.- 4 p..m.



Taylor Police Department and Taylor On Watch will present "Trunk or Treat" from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, October 25, at the Police Department, 23515 Goddard Road. This is a free event for all trick-or-treaters!

Wear your costumes. K-9 Atlas will be in attendance. Elected officials, police officers and members of the Taylor On Watch program will have car decorated and will be passing out candy. For more information, call (734) 374-1444.

The Downriver Anti-Trafficking Coalition's Pumpkin Run 5K will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, in Heritage Park. The event is expected to last until 12:30 p.m. Register at Heritage Park Pavilion A. Registration and snacks will be offered at 8 a.m. A Kids Run/Walk will be held at 9 a.m. and an Adult Run/Walk at 10 a.m.   

Wear your Halloween costumes! There will be a prize for best kid costume, adult costume and group costume.  There will also be face painting and free giveaways Register by October 22 for a free T-Shirt (T-shirts available for sale day of the event).


Last but not least, Safe Halloween will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (or until the candy runs out!) on Saturday, October 31 in Heritage Park.  Sponsored by the City of Taylor, it will be held around Coan Lake with many of the historic buildings open and active.
