BLAIR MOODY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL watches colors fight for space in scientific demostration

On Friday, October 16, Mr. Dwyer and his fourth-grade class and Mrs. Tevepaugh’s third-grade class at Blair Moody Elementary School practiced a scientific method.

The experiment is called “Gobstopper War” was based on what would happen if you put “Gobstoppers” in a bowl with room temperature water.

The students had four different colored “Gobstoppers” and placed them across from each other, then watched as the color began to come off of the candy and fight for space.

The students enjoyed observing as the bowl changed right before their eyes.
