At
McDowell Elementary School, a Living Wax Museum is a lot of fun.
Fifth
graders in Mr. Tomassion's class recently brought to life famous people for
their parents, grandparents and friends. In this end-of-the-year project
students had the opportunity to research, present and dress as their character.
In
attendance were Marilyn Monroe, Joan of Arc, Lebron James, Selena Gomez, Harry
Styles of 1Direction, Bruno Mars, Ken Griffey, Jr., Babe Ruth, Michael Jackson,
Katy Perry, Michael Jordon, Charles Barclay, Jacqueline Kennedy, Steve
"Stone Cold" Austin, George Washington Carver, Princess Diana and
Walt Disney – just to name a few.
The
students did a great job immersing themselves for this assignment!
