in the 21st Century: LeapPads and Kindles and iPads, oh my!
Mrs.
Thomson's first graders at Taylor Parks Elementary School are fully integrating
technology into their reading curriculum. Students are reading ebooks on their
classroom Kindles, learning about phonics and grammar on the iPads and
LeapPads, as well as practicing their reading and comprehension on computer
programs such as RazKids and Reading Eggs.
Students
are not only learning reading skills, but are also learning the essential
technology skills that will help them with future online testing.
