Mayor Rick Sollars of Taylor spent a portion of the morning on Friday, March 20, at Holland Elementary School delving into one of his favorite books, "The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig."
The Mayor read the book to Mrs. Danaj's second-grade class at part of National Reading Month, which is celebrated each March.
The children were very excited to have the Mayor visit their class. They enjoyed the book as much as he did and asked plenty of questions. When he was reading, the class promised that they would read a book themselves over the weekend. Otherwise, we weren't going to publish their pictures!
So remember our agreement ... and keep reading. It's the basis to a great education and success in life!
