Each
month, the entire Taylor Parks Elementary School Family gets together in the
gymnasium for the much-anticipated “Road Runner Rally.”
At
these rallies, the staff recognizes students who serve in the school,
participate on sports teams, and the wonderful “Students of the Month.”
Along
with announcements from Ms. Downie, each grade does a presentation that is both
academically appropriate (through song/poetry/skits) and fun.
For
this rally, it was kindergartners that performed for the entire school. The
pupils entertained with a small sample of what they had learned in kindergarten
so far this school year along with a song titled “Kiss Your Brain!”
They
did a wonderful job under the guidance of terrific teachers, Mrs. Ambrosia and
Mrs. Ramey.
Kindergartners,
you rock!
