On
September 26 the Hoover Middle School Eighth Grade Band marched in the Truman
Homecoming Parade.
This
is the 22nd time that Mr. Bergler has had his eighth grade band march in the
parade. The parade route runs from the American Legion to Truman High
School.
The
band marched to its drum cadences and performed the "Hoover Hawk Fight
Song" along the route. They stopped in the parking lot of Truman
High School and performed "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire.
The
weather was great, and it was a good opportunity for the group to see the
Truman HS Marching Band and to have a chance to perform for the community.
