TAYLOR PARKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Children deliver anti-bullying message

Taylor Parks Elementary School held an “Anti Bulling Rally” recently.

Each month, students and staff gather together to show support for each other at the Taylor Parks Roadrunner Rally.  Ms. Downie, principal, gives updates, important announcements, special acknowledgments and awards the classes that have the best attendance for that month.

Starting in the fall, each grade performs with song, a little skit, or in this months rally, a message.  Fourth-grade students delivered an anti-bullying theme complete with cheerleaders leading the students with anti-bullying rally cries.

The fourth graders read statistics on bullying in schools and the impact this behavior can have. It was a message so well delivered that more than one person in attendance was moved to tears.
