Holland Elementary School’s fourth- and
fifth-grade students in Mrs. Alef's class had an amazing opportunity to create
a group project on the solar system.
After a great lesson taught by Mrs.
Williams, the student teacher, students were divided into groups and assigned a
planet for their poster. Each group was given a poster board and several
library books about their assigned planet. Each group had about 30
minutes to create a poster about the planet with such information as, number of
moons, size and other relevant information.
All groups then had the opportunity
to present their poster to the class.
