SIXTH GRADE ACADEMY: Bowling is a healthy, active and social activity

Bowling really H-A-S it – as in healthy, active and social!

Students at the Sixth Grade Academy will begin an after-school Bowling Club on Wednesdays at Skore Lanes beginning March 5 for eight weeks.

The cost is $7.95 a week which includes two games of bowling, shoe rental, healthy snacks, math lessons and bowling with Mr. Wade and Mr. Harris.

Parents are invited to stay and participate – for $5 parents can bowl three games, shoes included.

The Bowling Centers Association of Michigan, Bowlers Ed In School Bowling Program and Skore Lanes present the program. The students at the Sixth Grade Academy completed the Bowlers Ed In School Bowling Program.

In follow up to the Bowlers Ed program, the after-school club is being offered.  The mission of the program is to encourage students to begin a path of lifelong healthy eating, activity and social fun.
