TAYLOR PARKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Never too cold for education!

Braving the severe temperatures, future Taylor Parks Elementary School pupils attended the Kindergarten Round Up held January 22.

The future students met each other while munching on cookies and punch.  They each received a “Goody Gift Bag” that contained alphabet and printing paper, coloring books and crayons, and of course, a little snack, "smarties" candy, all to feed the mind.

To add to their experience, they had a wonderful story read to them, along with doing their own story drawings.

The parents also had their own meeting with Ms. Downie, Taylor Parks principal; Kindergarten teachers Mrs. Ambrosia, Mrs. Brindle, Mrs. MacVeigh and Ms. Saucier, along with the school nurse, Mary Lynn Harrison.

This gave the parents the opportunity to ask lots of questions.  Even with the thermometer hovering around 3 degrees, once again Taylor parents showed their support with what is important.
