The Eureka Heights Elementary School
fifth-grade boys basketball team played like champs this weekend in the
district tournament, winning their first game against Taylor Parks, 14-7.
The defense played well and the
offense was well coordinated. Thanks to the spirited efforts of the
Panther cheerleading squad, who performed a wonderful halftime cheer to the
delight of the crowd, the Panthers accepted their win with class and good
sportsmanship.
