POST 4: Sophie D. wins award by dressing the part

If you're going to celebrate the 1980s, you have to look the part.

Sophie D. (pictured) was the winner of the best '80s costume award during the Kinyon Elementary School "Kinyonpalooza" recently. The event honors pupils that made appropriate behavioral and academic benchmarks for the school year.

It was a fun event that has a live 1980s-style band and carnival games and the rain during the day didn't dampen anyone's spirits!
