The Myers Elementary School chorus was invited to sing during the recent Taylor School District "Literacy and Language Luau" at Kennedy High School. The event, attended by over 700, was sponsored by the district's Title 1 program.
The group sang three songs: "Play That Music," "Music Is Always There" and "I Wish You Music." They performed under the direction of Music Teacher Leslie Burnett, who noted that they were outstanding and had a great time.
