100 West students attend Showbiz presentation

Last Wednesday, Showbiz Productions Director Carol-Ann Black visited West Middle School to introduce students to opportunities they might have in theatrical performance in the community.

A group of about 100 students in the seventh and eighth grade listened to Black, who gave them information about acting, auditioning and the various theater groups where they might have an opportunity to study.

Students were encouraged to be a part of Showbiz Productions next show, Seussical Jr.

You can find more information about Showbiz Productions and upcoming audition opportunities at sbkidz.com.

ShowBiz Kids is a theatrical training program for children ages 4 through 12, typical performing three productions per year -- two musicals and a straight play. The program is now in its 16th season of making live theater available to the Downriver community, with an emphasis on family entertainment.
