TAYLOR SCHOOLS: Explaining robotic calls and procedures during bad weather periods

Last week’s horrible weather and resulting school closings gives parents another chance to understand the Taylor School District policies and practices when it comes to such events.

If you are not receiving the weather “robo calls,” it is possible you have not updated your child's school with your new phone number. One call sent last week showed the following information in the after-call summary report:

Not Delivered (766) 12.81%
Hung Up (255) 4.26%
Delivered (4,959) 82.93%

Total (5,980) 100.00%

If you are not receiving these calls, please contact your child's school to ensure that the district has your correct contact information.
