Parks Elementary School students in Mrs. Overby's first-grade class have
been bringing in plastic bottles to accomplished two different but
important purposes.
First,
returning bottles for their deposit fee means more money for field
trips. Ten cents may not seem like a lot, but when the whole class
participates, it all adds up quickly.
The
other purpose is by recycling, greenhouse gases are reduced and the amount of
pollution in the air is decreased.
