On
Monday, March 19, seven students from the West Middle School Concert Band spent
the day at Orchestra Hall in Detroit representing the Taylor School District.
The
students spent the day with honor students from all around southeast Michigan
performing in the Honors Middle School Band. Students worked with
musicians from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for an entire school day and then
performed a concert on stage for parents and friends.
Thanks
to the generous donations from the Taylor Federation of Teachers, Taylor
Foundation, and Alpha Delta Kappa, this musical group of talented
students had a wonderful musical journey.
