WEST MIDDLE SCHOOL students take an adventure ride

West Middle School Adventure Learning eighth-grade students practiced tolerance, teamwork and their communication skills during a latest challenge activity.

The students worked together to build structures using only the materials provided. Sound easy? Well, the students thought so, until they were told a variety of directions such as: work in silence, use only one hand each, or one builder per group must be blindfolded.

The students persevered and were extremely patient while trying to meet goals in difficult situations.

A life lesson for all people.
