RANDALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL flies high with Red Wings

The Detroit Red Wings School Assembly Program, along with support from Saint Joseph Mercy Health System and the MESP Michigan Education Savings Program, visited Randall Elementary School on November 9.

This program is a great way to get students actively moving; learn about the importance of healthy living; and about the great sport of hockey through the partnership with the Detroit Red Wings.

Healthy eating habits and exercise were discussed. Most of all students were excited about a shoot off complete with goalie gear between five teachers and five students.

In our first assembly the teachers won 1-0. The second assembly the students won 2-0.

Randall School was given a banner for being an official 2017-18 participant.  Many thanks to the Detroit Red Wings for visiting.
