SIXTH GRADE ACADEMY'S Harvest Fest fills the halls

Harvest Fest was a big success at The Sixth Grade Academy!

On October 27 The Sixth Grade Academy held its First Annual Harvest Fest.  More than 25 community clubs, organizations and businesses had tables filled with literature, make–and-takes and free items, set up throughout the hallways.

Nursing students from The University of Detroit Mercy were on hand during the day and evening volunteering. In addition the Book Fair was open for families to purchase items.

The fest was a great time was enjoyed by students, families and staff.  The academy plans to have another event in the spring – naturally, it’ll be time for “Spring Fling!”
