Kennedy
High School – specifically its football stadium press box -- is planning to
rise from the ashes.
In
the early hours of September 7, the press box and wiring to the scoreboard were
destroyed by a suspicious fire that may have been linked to other arsons
committed on the same night up and down Telegraph Road. The school is asking that the community
come together and raise the funds to rebuild a bigger and better pressbox.
The
Taylor Fraternal Order of Eagles, 23900 Goddard Road, is hosting a fundraiser
on Saturday, October 3, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will include a spaghetti
dinner, raffles and 50/50.
Prices
are $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
