City
of Taylor has some wonderful places for students and families to visit. One of
them is the Heritage Park Petting Farm.
Students
from Mrs. Abramas' class at Taylor Parks Elementary School recently visited the
farm as a field trip. The students received a great deal of information about
the animals that are housed there and then were able to pet and interact
with the animals, such as rabbits, sheep, goats, cows, etc.
For
some students, this is the first contact with any farm animal, so it was
exciting and they came away with some great info and made some lasting
memories.
