HUMAN TRAFFICKING: Forum to focus on worldwide issue


"Human Trafficking: Extremely Wrong and Incredibly Close," will be the focus of a free forum at 6 p.m. Monday, February 23, at the Wayne County Community College District's Downriver Campus.

Sponsored by the Taylor Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force and funded in part by the Detroit Wayne Mental Health Authority, the event will feature Theresa Flores, LSW. MS, a survivor, author and victim advocate.

Learn how to recognize a victim and build coalitions against a growing problem in SE Michigan. Invite others to join in this opportunity.

The meeting will be held in the Ray Mix Room at WCCCD, 21000 Northline Road. The Ray Mix Room is located through the main doors near the front of the Prechter Performing Arts Center, which is located on the eastern-most edge of WCCCD.
