BLAIR MOODY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Hats off to classy coaches (from Randall)

The coaches of the Blair Moody Elementary School Basketball Team showed incredible sportsmanship towards the team at Randall during their first bitty ball game.

Randall is a new team and the Blair Moody coaches were helping them with plays and with the basics of the game.  The coaches from Blair Moody also extended some tips and help with coaching.

As a teacher at Randall, the kindness showed to my girls from another elementary, made my heart proud!

Way to go Blair Moody, Randall and the Taylor Bitty Ball League for creating a sense of teamwork and cooperation in our elementary girls.

MYERS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Campaign puts smile on holiday faces

On November 26, 27 Myers Elementary School families came to pick up a generous food box filled with Thanksgiving-related food items and turkeys for Thanksgiving dinner.

Thanks to the school population including staff, students, and parents, a food donation drive was held for three weeks prior to the giveaway date, which helped fill many of the food boxes.

Myers parent volunteers then put together many of the food boxes in preparation for families to receive them.  In addition to the boxes that Myers collected, the other food boxes were generously donated by a large, caring family who continue to show they care about Myers families year after year.

The school sincerely thanks everyone who put a smile on so many faces this holiday.
