MYERS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Campaign puts smile on holiday faces

On November 26, 27 Myers Elementary School families came to pick up a generous food box filled with Thanksgiving-related food items and turkeys for Thanksgiving dinner.

Thanks to the school population including staff, students, and parents, a food donation drive was held for three weeks prior to the giveaway date, which helped fill many of the food boxes.

Myers parent volunteers then put together many of the food boxes in preparation for families to receive them.  In addition to the boxes that Myers collected, the other food boxes were generously donated by a large, caring family who continue to show they care about Myers families year after year.

The school sincerely thanks everyone who put a smile on so many faces this holiday.
