Taylor Parks' pupils go back in time
Taylor Parks Elementary School pupils took a trip back in time last week!
First-graders attended a field trip to The Henry Ford's Greenfield Village in Dearborn, where they found out how children long ago lived and learned. And then they received a chance to compare what they encountered to what they have today.
Included in the visit was a trip to a one-room schoolhouse, Thomas Edison's laboratory, the Wright Brothers bicycle shop and Henry Ford's childhood home.
There is nothing that beats learning American history by virtually walking through it.
