Join Natalia and her friends in their fight against arthritis!

There's nothing like having friends who are willing to go the extra mile for you. Natalia Shabo has those types of friends at Kinyon Elementary School.

Natalia participates every year in the Arthritis Foundation Walk at the Detroit Zoo. A third-grader at Kinyon, Natalia was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis at age 3. Even though she had not had any flare ups lately, Natalia still takes a lot of medication to keep her problems at bay.

This year, the Kinyon Student Council combined with Natalia to raise money for the cause. The council sponsored a hat day to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation of Michigan. The campaign raised $180, which will be donated to the campaign on May 11.
