JOHNSON EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER children enjoy greenhouse

Preschoolers in Room 9 at Johnson Early Childhood Center had some very hands-on learning this year at Blair Moody Elementary School’s greenhouse.

They learned about planting seeds, watering and caring for them, and got to watch their plants grow. Then they learned how to pick different kinds of vegetables and strawberries and had fun tasting their own crops.

Ms. Smith, Ms. Adams, Ms. Nichole and their students are grateful to Ms. Sandra Thompson and Blair Moody for providing this wonderful experience. Walking back to the preschool, the students enjoyed stopping to pick dandelions. One day we tried drawing with them. Everyone loved it!
