JOHNSON EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER heads for space

Johnson Early Childhood Center is out of this world. The children in Mrs. Sute's class recently became excited about things they might find in the sky, while singing “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,” so they decided to go on a space adventure. The children decorated a rocket ship as the new entrance to our house area. They used control panels to fly into outer space and they peeked through our space windows to see the earth and galaxy. They also had a chance to write space words and journal about what they might find in space. They even created their own space suits and helmets!
