BLAIR MOODY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL hoop house contributes to weekly farmer's market

It' was a big day at the Taylor Farmer's Market June 15.

State Sen. Hoon Yung Hopgood held his annual bicycle helmet giveaway. The Taylor Bike Crew sponsored a drawing for free bicycles (one from Hopgood, one from the Bike Crew and one from the farmer's market). And the Youth Art Competition entries were voted on by market-goers.

The Blair Moody Elementary School "Hoop House" contributes produce each week to the "Growing Great Gardens" table at the market.

All the produce there is grown locally in Taylor, either from the hoop house, the Goodwill Gardens, the Petting Farm Gardens or the Norris Gardens.

This is really great produce, at really great prices. Visit the market and have a look for yourself! Market Managers Chrystal Kermans Ditzhazy and Thom Ouellette welcome you each Friday from 11-3 in the Sheridan Center inside Heritage Park.
