On
February 27 students from Kinyon, McDowell, and Blair Moody elementary schools attended
the PreFestival Concert at West Middle School.
Future
West students had the opportunity to listen to what will soon be some of the
music ensembles they will perform in. School board trustee Blaine
Honeycutt also attended a concert.
Choir
students performed concerts on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and our band
students performed concerts on Wednesday evening.
On
March 2 members of the Varsity and Concert Band took take the stage at Dexter
High School to compete in the District 12 Band Festival. The following
day, students from Men in Black, Cadet Choir, and Cardinal Singers took take
the stage at Lincoln Park High School and compete in the District 12 MSVMA
choir competition.
