Last
weekend the West Middle School Marching Band participated in the opening day
ceremonies for the Taylor South Little League Parade.
Under
the direction of Joann Farmer, the band played music from classic movies such
as Rocky III, Indiana Jones, Jaws, Superman, and Batman. Members of the band also took the field
to play the National Anthem. The
band will also march and participate in the annual Relay for Life event in
Heritage Park on May 20.
