GOING TO THE DOGS: Pars for Pups tourney to benefit Pound Pals, planned dog park

The first annual Pars for Pups Golf Tournament is scheduled for August 15 at the Taylor Meadows Golf Course. It will benefit Pound Pals of Taylor and the campaign to create the City's first dog park.

The tourney is $65 per player in a four-person scramble format. Included in the ticket will be golf, lunch at the turn, dinner at the end of the day and plenty of prizes.Shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

Those interested in sponsoring can do so in many ways:

• Platinum: $500 (two hole sponsorships, event banner and social media recognition, four-person team entry)
• Gold: $400 (one hole sponsorship, Event banner and social media recognition. Four-person team entry)
• Silver: $300 (two hole sponsorships, event banner and social media recognition)
• Bronze: $200 (one hole sponsorship, event banner and social media recognition)
• Copper: $100 (one hole sponsorship)
• Friend of the Event: $50 (Recognition on social media)
