KENNEDY HIGH SCHOOL: Farewell assembly honors seniors

Kennedy High School held its 2015 farewell and honors assembly on Wednesday, June 3, before a packed house in the school gymnasium.

Key honors were awarded to the following:

Ann Robertson Drake Scholarship ($1,000) – Loralyn Peeler

Scholar Athlete ($500) – Andrea Campbell

Friends of Northern Michigan University ($2,000)– Teressa Savastano

Grodman Cure / Shane Simmons Memorial ($500) – Nancy Wu

Mayor Rick Sollars Scholarship ($500) – Jenna Grabowski

Changing Lives Scholarship ($150 each) -- Devon White and Loralyn Peeler

Taylor Ministerial Making a Difference Scholarship ($250) -- Hannah Howard

Taylor School District Alumni Association ($500) -- Morgan Alexis

Taylor Community Credit Union Scholarship ($500) -- Leanna Cloutier

Women’s Auxiliary of the Democratic Club of Taylor Scholarship ($500) – Hannah Howard

Oakland University (four years, $24,000) – Brandon Thibault

Taylor Federation of Teachers ($2,500) – Devon White

Baker College – Emiley Loving, Alexis Warner, Taylor Hundley and Miranda Musico
