The
Taylor School District is excited to welcome six members of the AdvancEd
External Review Team to the district April 19-22.
The
six members are fellow educators from Michigan, Florida and Missouri. The
Taylor School District has spent the past two years preparing for AdvancED
District Accreditation and this is the last step before earning this title.
Accreditation
allows all schools to have a common language of school improvement and supports
a common accountability of requirements.
Thanks
to the team for taking time out of the their daily schedule to come to Taylor
and see all the amazing things we have going on.
The
group will be visiting Taylor Parks, Eureka Heights, Myers, Kinyon, Hoover and
Truman High School on Tuesday and will spend time at the Board Office.
The
External Review process will end Wednesday with a report at 2 p.m. giving the
district recognition of Powerful Practices, Opportunities for Improvement and
Improvement Priorities.
This
is an exciting step for the Taylor Schools and we appreciate all the teamwork
in preparing for this review.
