The
fourth- and fifth-grade Student Council representatives at McDowell Elementary
School are leading “Operation Gratitude” for the holiday season.
Students
and staff are encouraged to write letters, make cards or draw pictures to send
to our brave men and women who are serving our country overseas. They
want to express our gratitude for their service and brighten their holiday.
Student
Council representatives gave presentations in all of the classrooms December5.
All cards, letters and pictures were due on December 12.
I am so proud of our Student Council members! They did a fantastic job presenting the project so that all students would understand.
