TAYLOR PARKS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: Once-a-month rally makes Friday a big day!

On Friday, once a month, the Taylor Parks Elementary School students and staff join together for a rally.

Principal Downie takes this opportunity to inform students of what is happening in school.  Along with the information, raffle winners are announced, special acknowledgments are made to individual students or groups, and all in all, it is a very positive interaction.

To top everything off, students take turns entertaining the others students providing informational songs or skits.  At this rally, first graders from the classes of Mrs. MacVeigh, Mrs. Thomson, Mrs. Young and Mrs. Bailey gave us songs about Thanksgiving.

One, “Little Pilgrim,” song to the tune of “Ba Ba Black Sheep,” and the other was “Ten Little Turkeys,” with the last line, TURKEYS RUN - DON'T EAT ME.

Sound advice this time of year!
