Park
It Family Fun Night, featuring live music, children's activities, giveaways and
movies under the stars, is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, at Heritage
Park. This is a totally fun activity running in conjunction with the Junior
League World Series, which will also be underway nearby.
The
event will be held on the Heritage Park soccer fields, which run along the
north end of the park. Live music by The George Brothers will begin at 6:30
p.m. The movie Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will begin at 8:15.
The
sponsors of this event include Metro PCS, ZTE and the Detroit Zoo.
