SIXTH GRADE ACADEMY: All aboard for annual career day!


The Agenda for Sixth Grade Academy's Career Day 2014

Featuring:  Enthusiastic people like you who love their career and would like to share their experience with sixth graders in the Taylor School District!

When:  Thursday, May 8, 2014.  Arrive at 9:15 A.M.  Sessions run  from 9:30 A.M.-11:00A.M., with a catered lunch to follow.

Where:  Sixth Grade Academy 13500 Pine Street Taylor, MI 48180

How:  We ask that you prepare one 25-minute presentation, to be repeated for 3 sessions.  Please allow 5-10 minutes within the 25 minutes for questions and answers.  We ask that you include how you attained your job, skills/education needed to perform job, and personal feelings, such as your favorite/least favorite thing about your job. Classrooms for presentations will be assigned

Please let us know prior to career day if you will need a computer/projector, table, etc. in order to make your presentation more successful.  Anything visual or hands-on is encouraged.  Also, please let us know if you will be distributing items to the students, such as pamphlets or pens with company logo and or information etc.
