Michigan
School Vocal Music Association (MSVMA) President Doug Armstead presented a
full-day clinic in late February for chorus students at West Middle School.
Working
with students on music they were set to present at District Choral Festival,
Mr. Armstead helped with movement and presentation, tone and shaping, and even
introduced a few new fun warm ups.
The
students enjoyed a follow-up coaching by Mr. Armstead at their pre-festival
concert on Tuesday, March 4.
