Families
at Holland Elementary School had a wonderful time during an evening filled with
books, the “Cat in the Hat” and a craft project.
It
began with Mancino's Grinders for dinner and then the real fun began! Children
were invited to wear their pajamas, bring a blanket and stuffed animal and
books to read with their families inside classrooms or the hallway.
The
Scholastic Book Fair was open for families to select and purchase books
together. Everyone was given the chance to make a cute “Cat in the Hat”
mask to take home.
A “Cat
in the Hat” cartoon movie played in the gym for families to watch together. Everyone
had fun visiting with friends, buying books and reading with their families.
