WEST MIDDLE SCHOOL: NJHS prepares for speaker, service, trip and Relay for Life

The purpose of the National Junior Honors Society (NJHS) shall be to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage citizenship.

In February the West Middle School National Junior Honor Society will have Mrs. Proudlock as a guest speaker.  She will share her passion for fostering shelter dogs and finding them forever homes.

The students will be donating supplies to help the shelter such as: towels, blankets, treats and toys.  The group will also have regular monthly meeting to discuss service hours, the May trip to Chicago and the Relay for Life Team.
