Blair Moody Elementary School teachers spent the day Friday
learning about Formative Assessment from Wayne County RESA’s Ellen Vorencamp.
She provided the teachers with critical information as well as a
multitude of ideas on how to use formative assessment to drive instruction. Teachers
then had the opportunity to spend Professional Learning Community time to
decide how to best implement the new information into their classrooms.
And big “thank you” from everyone involved to Bea Benjamin for
setting up Ellen and the substitute teachers.
