Last
week’s Taylor Schools Family & Community Expo (Literacy Luau) held at
Kennedy High School was a success, as always.
The
principals, teachers, support staff and students are to be commended for their
hard work. The event showcased all of the student artwork, literature and vocal
performances.
Various
schools displayed their featured student work and activities on tables that
entirely circled the first floor of Kennedy High School, as well as in the
library, cafeteria and gym.
STEM-focused
initiatives were especially popular for students, and the Lego Robots were fun
to joust with.
Hats
off to all of business sponsors and partners for helping to support the event –
and a special thank you to Nan Kuhn, and the school improvement director and coordinators
for their work to help set up and take down after the event.
